hi everybody i love books but i am haveing chooseing books that turn out to be exciteing and fun to read. so i am asking you to recommend me some books whish revolve around pure fiction like the golden compass and percy jackson series.
So you're talking about fantasy genre? You saying Golden Compass makes me think you might be. Ever read anything by Tamora Pierce? The Circle of Magic series is a good one, among other things.

I've been taking reccomendations from the owner of that site for years and he has never steered me wrong.
From what I can tell Percy Jackson are sort of Urban Fantasy books. I recently read the Dresden Files and loved them. They are about a wizard P.I in Chicago who solves supernatural mysteries. I was never personally much of a mystery fan but there is a ton of action and character development in that series which easily held my interest. All the books are on Bookshare (Not sure of NLS but they probably have them too) and the first is called Storm Front.
